framed, the painting was enlarged by about 4.5 in. on the left and right side by the artist, after it was signed. the canvas is relined, but on the original stretcher. there are discreet small retouched at the edges and at left, as well as along the seams in the canvas at left and right. there are some retouches on the woman's dress, a few among the central objects, and on the brass flower pot at right
